BLAIRBEG
SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION
Home Page
Blairbeg has been created from a traditional Scottish agricultural building to provide a compact holiday cottage in Glenshee, one of Scotland’s last undeveloped glens. Originally forming part of the Cray estate, it is situated 15 mile north of Blairgowrie on the B951, ½ a mile from the A93 Blairgowrie to Braemar road.
It is ideally situated for skiing, being 11 miles south of the Glenshee ski slopes, and 7 miles from the Glenisla cross country skiing trails. It is well placed for exploring the Angus glens to the East, Royal Deeside to the north, and Pitlochry is only 26 miles to the West. There is plenty of scope for hillwalking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and golf to be enjoyed within the area. Blairbeg is situated on the Cateran Trail, a long distance path of 63 miles in the Perthshire and Angus glens. The Caterans were rough cattle thieves who looted and cattle rustled during the 15th to 17th centuries.

You can experience the wildlife of the area on your very doorstep, from red deer to red squirrels, or the ospreys at Ardmore, just a few miles away. Many people have enjoyed Blairbeg over the years, whether as a place to chill out and relax, to use as a base for an activity based holiday, or as centre for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The nearest shop is at Kirkmichael - 8 miles away and the nearest pub is 3 miles away, so be sure to stock up well! The nearest phone is 2.5 miles away at Blacklunans.
